Among numerous applications of Solid-State Nuclear Track Detector (SSNTD), one important application is estimating radon and thoron concentration in an indoor environment. The primarily used SSNTD for this LR-115. Studying the behaviour these SSNTDs different etching solutions essential. In report, Lithium hydroxide solution was to etch LR-115 SSNTD. study thickness film removed carried out at normality effect on bulk rate. change rate with temperature also put study.
